DON PARTLAN

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Don joined MVLA in 1988 and has worked mainly on academic, residential and institutional projects. His current work includes cultural, historic and estate/residential projects. Don has an avid interest in photography and technology as well as sustainability, especially as it relates to design. He is the resident ’tech expert’ at MVLA, educating and spearheading technology issues for the office and sharing his knowledge of current innovations related to design.

He worked previously at EDAW, Inc. in Alexandria, Virginia and Nancy Hardesty Associates in Menlo Park, California. He has an undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture from Washington State University and a Master in Landscape Architecture from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard.
