Jessica Fegley

DESIGNER

Jess has long been fascinated by how impactful landscapes can be on collective behaviors and the overall well-being of people. Early, formative experiences in her life demonstrated how designed landscapes can foster connections, alter perceptions, and mend ecosystems. This inspired her to pursue a career in landscape architecture, with an aim to create places that integrate vibrant historical roots, social engagement, and environmental stewardship.

In 2015, Jess earned her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Pennsylvania State University and practiced professionally for four years before returning to pursue a Master of Science degree. Her research centered on artful rainwater design, green stormwater infrastructure, and improving water quality. This work was bolstered by her acquisition of multiple grants. Jess received a Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award from Penn State and was accepted to present at numerous national conferences. Her current design process embraces the intersection of art, cultural history, and science.
